The other day I was craving ice cream, and I stumbled into Kimmer’s. I was blessed to have met a lovely girl named Amelia M who served me. She had impeccable customer service skills and she truly made my day. I look forward to going to Kimmer’s again!

Popped in today, based on reviews I read on here. I was not disappointed. The kind lady allowed me to try 2 flavours which I was most likely to have, but once tasted never in doubt. I recommend the Apple Cider Sorbet and the Maple ice cream. To be fair I was surely tempted to go back later for another helping of the Maple as that was unbelievable. Next time I am in Chicago, which I hope isn’t long, this ice cream parlour is a must do on the list. The best ice cream in Chicago, could very well be this place. It’s sublime.

I’m pretty much an ice cream connoisseur and this place is high on my list! SO good. Everything. All the flavors. Oh em geee. Baby friendly location and great ingredients. I love the booth and the chandelier makes the ambiance just so much more delightful!!

Update: 11/15/23: I did a two scoop with root beer float and parent trap (cookies and cream with peanut butter). Great combination. You get the sweetness from the root beer float and the little bit of saltiness from the peanut butter. It was never too sweet nor too salty. Just the right amount of each. Located in downtown Elmhurst. A lot of free parking spaces. The employees were very nice. We got pumpkin cheesecake, chocolate peppermint bark, pumpkin, and Aztec hot chocolate. They have a lot more flavors than what they advertise on their website. My favorite was the chocolate peppermint bark. Great seasonal flavor for the holidays. Pumpkin cheesecake was a close second.

A small "Very Pink" ice cream shoppe located in downtown Elmhurst. They offer small batch hand crafted ice cream. All of their ice creams are made in their Wheaton location. Offering over 15 different flavors,it was hard to decide on what to try. I chose the Aztec Hot Chocolate with has a hint of spice from the chile and cayenne peppers mixed with chocolate and cinnamon ice cream. I also tried the Coffee Toffee Crunch which was Toffee ice cream,local espresso and heath bar pieces. Delish! One and two scoops available. With so many flavor choices,I have to go back! Thanks Again

Outstanding ice cream and environment. I had the raspberry sorbet and my family got mint chocolate and bubblegum. Plenty of working in downtown Elmhurst within 2 blocks. The staff is helpful and friendly. The crowd is good. There’s a few seats inside but on a nice day, you can take your ice cream and walk with it in downtown Elmhurst.

So good!! I had the pumpkin cheesecake and to be honest I probably could have had the whole tub. It had tiny chucks of cheesecake!! they also make ice cream cakes and sandwiches, they looked tasty! The service was fast, and the cashier was super sweet. We can’t wait to go back and try a different flavor!

We love all of the unique and delicious flavors Kimmer’s comes up with, and love that they always have a dairy-free option for allergies. The Elmhurst location employee we see in there every time we visit is so friendly and welcoming, as well as being so patient with our kids while they sample all the flavors! We love supporting this location!
